Wezesha Youth Initiative achievement
Project Impact

Since 2018, we have successfully reached over 60,000 people across Kenya. Our outreach has spanned more than 20 counties through our on-ground programs. Additionally, we have successfully organized three editions of Mr. & Miss Tranquility from 2019 to 2024.
Campaign Successes

We launched our “Beyond the Flow” campaign, raising awareness about menstrual health and impacting over 5,000 girls. During the national elections, we mobilized over 300 youth for peacebuilding and civic education training. We also equipped more than 200 young individuals with skills in sustainable climate action practices. Notably, we raised 100,000 sanitary towels for girls living in informal settlements through our initiative “Saidia Girlchild, asome.”
Partnership Growth

We have built a strong coalition consisting of over 45 partner organizations, including the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB), the Media Council of Kenya (MSCK), the Global Peace Foundation, Global Communities, and many more.
Volunteer Mobilization

Our movement has seen the recruitment of over 5,000 active volunteers throughout Kenya. We are dedicated to engaging marginalized groups, including youth with disabilities and LGBTQ+ communities, in inclusive programs.
Awards & Recognition

We have been recognized as a leading youth movement by the Nairobi City County Cultural Department. Our founder, Paul Victor, has been featured in several national forums focused on youth leadership.
Media & Exposure

Our initiatives have garnered attention across various platforms, with features on GBS TV, KTN, Citizen TV, NTV, KBC, Star, and community radio stations. Furthermore, we participated in civic education, training over 50 volunteers in conflict resolution.
